Pooch Sitters is a professional in-home pet care service providing loving, reliable and affordable care for your pets. Our mission is to treat your pets and home with the love, care and respect we use to treat our own. We believe in nurturing pets in their home environment and helping them follow a consistent and reliable schedule so that you return to a happy pet.

Your pets will be personally taken care of by one of our insured and bonded Pooch Sitters. Our Pooch Sitters are American Red Cross First Aid certified.

Meet the Staff for Southern California:

Mayra (Owner) Mayra Victoria is the Owner and Founder of Pooch Sitters (established 2003) and Pooch Club (established 2008). She's always been an animal lover and has worked with many different types of pets. Her own family dogs are all rescued animals. Mayra has over 20 years experience in Customer Service, Marketing, and Sales Operations which are very valuable when setting up and running these businesses successfully. Mayra has also had the privilege of working with Cesar Millan - star of the National Geographic's popular show called the "Dog Whisperer". Cesar's techniques and methodology are followed with all her interactions with dogs.

Vicky Vicky has been with Pooch Sitters since 2006. She loves all kinds of pets and has a hobby zoo that consists of a Horse, 2 Chocolate Labs, a rescued Kitty, and Chickens. Vicky is our in-house Horse expert and is the primary sitter for the Orange/Santa Ana area.

Lori Lori has been with Pooch Sitters since 2006. She is an animal lover and has a whole group of pets that lives with her and her 3 children. Lori is the primary sitter for Garden Grove and Downtown Orange area

Jennifer Jennifer has been with Pooch Sitters since 2007. Jennifer is especially fond of kitties. Jennifer is primary sitter for the Anaheim Hills area.

Steve Steve is Mayra's hubby and 2nd Hand. He keeps watch of all the Pooch Camp boarders while Mayra is out taking care of pets in their homes.  Steve also helps with anything technical including the Pooch Sitters and Pooch Club website.

Meet the Staff for Northern California:

Lisa

Lisa Moreno is our Co-Founder of  Poochs Sitters (2003) and our Lead Pooch Sitter in the Elk Grove/Sacramento Area.

Lisa has an extensive background in Customer Service, Sales, Marketing and Management.  She has four of her own dogs and has always had a strong affection for animals.

Cheryl

Cheryl has been with Pooch Sitters since 2006.  Cheryl is a retired Firefighter/Paramedic with a stong love for animals.

She now works part time at  a Veterinarian's office, as well as Pooch Sitter.Cheryl has had a variety of creatures over the years and currently shares her home with three dogs, Jasmine, Bear and Ginger.

Sara

Sara has been with Pooch Sitters since early 2008.  She is a certified Veterinary Technician with extensive experience in giving fluids, insulin, oral meds to dogs and cats.  She also does post surgery support/care; and senior care. . She and her husband have a Shar-pei they adopted from the Humane Society in Ohio where she worked before moving to California. 

Jorge

Jorge is Lisa’s hubby and Pooch Sitter Assistant.  It’s a good thing he likes pets for they share their home with four dogs.  Jorge has a natural ability with dogs and they tend to respect him very quickly.
